In October 2000, PanCanadian WordFest brought together six renowned poets with a dynamite jazz quintet to stage a series of collaborative performances called Out Loud Live, including one that was webcast live to the world. Over 3,000 viewers tuned in to our live feed, and now, with the launch of this website, many more can share the experience. Six taped excerpts from that webcast are archived on the Out Loud Live website, along with additional documentary material. The Out Loud Live webcast and website were produced by PanCanadian WordFest in collaboration with the Banff Centre Press and the Centre's Creative Electronic Environment.
